Apps check for signed updates when opened. Close and reopen an app to pick up a new release. Updates preserve printer settings and job history.
Windows may display a SmartScreen warning because these apps do not yet have a commercial Authenticode certificate. Queue completion depends on what the Windows printer driver reports.
